Sacred Heart School was established in 1904 with an enrollment of over 200 students. Based on a rich heritage of faith, the school has grown and prospered. Our enrollment includes children from Preschool through eighth grade. Education and formation of faith are the primary goals of Sacred Heart School and Preschool. Our philosophy reflects the values of Jesus Christ and the visions of the Catholic Church. We recognize that education is multifaceted, that education involves the whole child, and that education instills an appreciation and philosophy of life which reflects Catholic, Christian values and attitudes. We encourage our children to be Alive in Christ.

General Information
We are blessed at Sacred Heart to have a full-time, nationally accredited Catholic school where God and children come first. Our enrollment includes preschool, full-day kindergarten, and grades one through eight.
Our faculty and staff strive to help our children grow spiritually, intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically. We work in close partnership with our parents and the entire parish community to encourage our children to become lifelong learners with a strong sense of service, justice, respect for and appreciation of diversity, and a commitment to the Gospel and Catholic Tradition.
At Sacred Heart School we set standards of excellence in behavior and academics. We have a positive discipline program with the goals of treating each other with Gospel values and developing self-discipline. Our faculty and staff create a loving, challenging, Christ-like environment for our children, where children can reach their full potential. Catholic, Christian values are integrated into every aspect of our curriculum and emphasize respect and responsibility, including the responsibility each student has to contribute to the learning environment.
We celebrate the giftedness and unique qualities of every student and realize that all children do not learn in the same ways and at the same pace. We, therefore, have a strong focus on differentiation of instruction, incorporate learning centers into our classrooms, and build in successful learning experiences for every child.
Our children score well above the national averages on standardized tests. Our students are consistently accepted into their first-choice high schools.
